This converted Victorian fishing warehouse in artsy Newlyn is truly one-of-a-kind. We were blown away by the glass balconies showing off the triple-height ceilings, the bespoke floating oak staircases and the show-stopping master suite set on the entire top floor. A bright, open living space calls for settling in with cups of tea and scones provided by your host. Or if you’re feeling competitive, battle it out in a game of table football. And it's not just the design that's fascinating – the whole home is heated using a geothermal heat source from the nearby Newlyn Coombe River, which can be seen from the terrace as you enjoy drinks and good company waterside. You're only a few minutes from the bay and there's a nice selection of gastropubs and restaurants just a short walk away. Plus, Penzance is a six-minute drive (or a twenty-five-minute walk along the coastal path), so you're excellently positioned to explore southwest Cornwall.
