Riata Ranch is a family owned and operated 1200 acre property nestled at the base of the Santa Lucia Mountains in Santa Margarita, California.

Luxury paired with the beauty and serenity of nature! Set on twelve hundred acres, this historic property was once part of a ranch that was a 1700 California Land Grant. Mighty Oaks provide natural canopies that offer filtered sunlight for afternoon events. Multiple ceremony locations, from wide open spaces to intimate nooks, afford sweeping views of the surrounding hills. There is even the ruins of an old homestead where the stone foundation and chimney provide a fabulous backdrop for photos.

Design:: The 4500 square foot modern Ranch House has been remodeled to provide guests all of the luxuries you would find in a fine hotel! It has a chef's kitchen, a wrap-around porch, indoor/outdoor dining, a swimming pool/spa, lawn games, a fire pit and a wine cellar! This house sleeps 12 and is perfect for a family vacation, intimate wedding or just a weekend away.
Standout venue features:: The Nordic TipiTents are on a hill overlooking the stunning vista of the ranch property, unique to this area the tipis will make your wedding day dreams come true! You can seat up to 200 for your ceremony and reception, and the hilltop is surrounded with Bistro lights, for those warm summer nights of dancing under the stars!
