The scene:
Rhein Haus is a Bavarian-inspired restaurant and bar located on Capitol Hill. A truly unique space featuring a bier hall, dining room, outdoor biergarten, and two mezzanines, Rhein Haus also offers five indoor bocce courts and one outdoor court. Executive Chef Pete Fjosne leads a culinary team creating housemade sausages, pretzels, and an outstanding blend of traditional and unique Bavarian dishes. At the bar, our 25 drafts offer a remarkable selection of German, Belgian, and American beers while our cocktail program features beer as an ingredient. A fantastic place to meet friends, throw a party, or bring your employees together for a team-building event, Rhein Haus is the perfect destination for bier, brats, and bocce!
Design:
Rhein Haus boasts a colossal bier hall with tall wooden tables and benches inspired by Munich’s famed Hofbräuhaus, plus a back bar, two large mezzanines, and a more intimate “bier den.” Aside from the five indoor bocce ball courts there is one outdoor court in the massive outdoor Biergarten. Grand wooden railings salvaged from the McCaw Mansion in Medina lead the way up to the front mezzanine and stunning Viennese chandeliers hang from the ceilings on the main floor. Local elk heads, leather club chairs, booth seating, and a colossal Austrian fireplace complete the “bier den,” and large Belgian doors and pane windows make up one wall of the bier hall. The ownders went on a scouting trip to five countries, returning home with, among scores of others finds, an entire set of bistro walls from Austria, a Parisian Metro clock, porcelain finials and inspiration from everywhere from Northern Italy to San Francisco.

West Mezzanine
This Mezzanine features seating for 40 and standing room for 50. There is a shuffleboard table in the space and two flatscreen televsions.
View: The mezzanine overlooks the bocce courts on one side and the main entrance on the other.

Price range: $250/hour food and beverage minimum Sunday-Thursday. $400/hour food and beverage minimum Friday and Saturday.
East Mezzanine
The East Mezzanine features seating for 24 or standing room for up to 40. There is a shuffleboard in the space and two flatscreen televisions.

Price range: $200/hour food and beverage minimum Sunday-Thursday. $300/hour food and beverage minimum Friday and Saturday.
Bocce Den
The Bocce Den is located right off of the Bocce Bar and the Bocce courts, making it a very fun event space, right in the action. There are built in booths and some free standing tables in the space. The bocce Den features seating for 15 or standing room for up to 30.
