- The Scene:
- Red Hill was settled in 1862 and originally named 'Bald Hill' which came from when wild bullocks and kangaroos roamed and grazed the rich fertile hills. Located in the centre of Mornington Peninsula's Hinterland with panoramic views, Port Phillip Bay to the north and west and Western Port Bay to the south east.In 1929, The Red Hill Cool Store was destroyed by fire, but soon replaced by a larger one. A packing shed was constructed in 1927. The Epicurean Red Hill is a fresh incarnation of Red Hill's historic Cool Store, and is the perfect, mulit-functional venue with bespoke private dining areas in which to celebrate an unforgettable special occasion.
- Design:
The Epicurean Red Hill's interior features a spectacular 9 metre gladd atrium style roof, framed by large historic timber columns from the old Woolloomooloo wharf. In the ‘cucina’ style restaurant called The Shed, an Italian-inspired menu, featuring traditional wood fire pizza plus relaxed dining captures all things Italy with Carrara marble and 3 large open fire places made from locally sourced rock.
- The Barrel Room:
- The Barrel Room, as its name suggests houses wine barrels from local Mornington Peninsula wineries. The Barrel Room’s black interior is lined with rich oak wine barrels and copper metal pendant lights. Maintaining the buildings industrial heritage, The Barrel Room is a truly impressive space shared with our resident neon duck. Our Barrel Room encompasses all that you’ll need to make your next event unforgettable.

- The Private Dining Room:
- Our Private Dining Room, adorned with floor to ceiling Spanish linen draping, seed bag pendant lights and oak timber flooring is suitable for the most elaborate of special events. With an aspect facing bushland, this setting is a true reflection of Red Hill’s beauty, complimented by an equally as impressive space.

- The Shed Resturant - The ‘cucina’ style restaurant is an Italian-inspired menu, featuring traditional wood fire pizza plus relaxed dining encapsulating all things Italy. It features a 9 meter glass atrium style roof, old recycled large section timber from the old Woolloomooloo wharf, Carrara marble bars and 3 large open fireplaces made from locally sourced rock.

We source unique products from both local suppliers and from individuals all over the world for your enjoyment.
