Venue Setting
A modern home on an established plot of land that local legend Dylan Thomas would've once known, this place has a knockout location overlooking the village of Llansteffan and its estuary. Comfortable and immaculate, it's been thoughtfully put together to offer an excellent base for a stay in this part of Wales.
Inside, contemporary shades of grey and white keep everything calm and sophisticated, and the huge sliding doors in the spacious lounge open out to a lovely patio, where you can eat and drink in view of the Norman ruins of Llansteffan Castle on the headland – once the home of Welsh princes and now open to the public (for free unless there's an event taking place). On summer evenings, light the barbecue for an alfresco meal in the garden or head to one of the village's nearby pubs.
From here, it's an easy walk to the wide sandy beach nearby or drive fifteen minutes to Carmarthen, the nearest town, for everything else you might need. And for a day out, Tenby is just a forty-minute drive.
