Modern in design — glass, stone, Alder — and warm in feel, Presqu'ile Winery is elegance personified. Featuring a multitude of meticulously curated spaces, with a glimpse of the Pacific in the distance, it is the perfect canvas upon which to craft your dream wedding.

Presqu'ile, (pronounced press-KEEL) translates to 'almost an island'. The 200 acre Estate, sprawling with vineyards and oak trees, combines the natural beauty of wine country with grandiose design. The hospitality building features an amphitheater with rolling hills and a eucalyptus grove just beyond — a stunning back drop for an outdoor ceremony. The natural cut stone walls and vaulted wood ceilings that make up the tasting room building provide a natural canvas from which to draw upon a unique reception.

Presqu'ile offers multiple wedding packages to choose from, based on guest count and location for ceremony and reception. Venue Features
The scene:
Presqu'ile translates to "almost an island" in French Creole. Our vineyard is an organically farmed, 200 acre Estate surrounded by rolling hills and oak trees with mountain and ocean views. Conveniently located 2 miles east of Highway 101, Presqu'ile is the unknown gem of the Central Coast.
Design:
Our building features floor to ceiling glass doors that face unobstructed views of the San Luis Obisbo Bay and Guadalupe dunes. These pocket doors open completely to an expansive terrace with designer patio furniture and lush landscaping. The interior features vaulted Alder wood ceilings and natural cut stone walls decorated with contemporary art work. Around the corner of our glass wine library is the entrance to our garden patio. This outdoor venue boasts two story high walls with climbing ivy, Provencal herbs and citrus trees.

Vows with a View
Located on the 5th floor of our winery is the Viewing Terrace, a perfect location for the most intimate ceremony. This package includes use of the Bridal Suite as well as use of the Grand Room for reception.
View: San Rafael mountain range to the East, San Luis Obispo Bay to the West and rolling vineyards in between.

The Lily Pond
This grassy hilltop venue can easily accommodate a tent for up to 300 people and also features a beautifully landscaped patio.
View: Overlooking the Soloman Hills to the West and the San Rafael Mountain range to the East, the Lily Pond provides 360 degrees of breathtaking views.

Almost an Island
Enjoy everything our Hospitality Building has to offer, including the amphitheater and wine club lounge in addition to the Grand Room and terraces. Under this package our tasting room remains open and is relocated to our winery level for the day.
View: Enjoy unobstructed views of the Santa Maria skyline and San Luis Obispo Bay in the distance.

A Honeybee Inspired Wedding Shoot at a California Winery's New Venue
Nestled in at the top of a hill overlooking the Santa Maria Valley, Presqu'ile Winery is a charming, family-owned and operated vineyard that delivers not just amazing wines but amazing views too. From the top of the hill, you can see all the way to the coastline on a clear day, so it should come as no surprise that this spot is prime real estate for Central Coast weddings. Newly launched brand Embark Event Design recently headed up a real wedding photo shoot at the venue and brought in a gorgeous, relaxed aesthetic to complement the setting. We recently caught up with Sarah Strausser, owner of Embark, and got all the backstory and details behind the wedding shoot. So, we'll let her explain the honeybee motif, soft color palette and what makes Presqu'ile Winery's new hilltop ceremony and reception space one of the best places for a wedding on the Central Coast.
