Established in 2014, Polperro is a unique venue which is both elegant and rustic. The central function room, designed by Hecker Guthrie, is effortlessly stylish and modern. The space is earthy, warm and inviting, with a palette derived from nature. Functions and events at Polperro bistro are intimate and relaxed, with strong focus towards casual dining and drinking, with service that is both informed and personable. We specialise in providing a high quality dining experience with our seasonal share-style menus complemented by our own wines. Each luxury villa includes; a king size bed, an open fire place, in-room cellar door , mini bar and a central spa bath with water feature. For the ultimate luxury experience guests can select our premium villa, its point of difference is the private sauna. Our modern luxury apartments are effortlessly stylish, fitted out with designer furnishings including, cowhide rugs, modern light fittings and Parisian style trunks. For an extra special experience guests can choose to include indulgent extras, Polperro offers add-ons such as; dining packages for the onsite bistro, estate made picnic hampers and delicious cheese & charcuterie platters or wines to be placed in the villa upon arrival.

Venue Features

The scene:: Polperro is located on a working property with acreages of vines and views of the valley beyond. A nature lovers dream our property features, a well manicured lawn and kitchen garden and is shaded by the most magnificent Angophora trees. A distinctive rural vista providing an inimitable serenity and unique outlook.
Design:: Polperro bistro and cellar door was designed by Hecker Guthrie. The space is earthy, warm and inviting, with a palette derived from nature. The interior features art work by Rebekah Stuart and beautifully designed furnishings which, incorporate “a sense of the artisan or craft in the detailing of each element – a handmade quality.”
Standout venue features:: A private function at Polperro provides you with exclusive use of the venue including; the bistro, deck, lawn and cellar door. Functions at Polperro are hosted in our bistro. The bistro is filled with natural light and extends out onto a wooden deck, overlooking the vineyard. The interior is refined and modern, fitted with artisan furnishings providing the perfect setting for any event. The outdoor deck and lawn area provide you and your esteemed guests the opportunity to enjoy the weather whilst enjoying drinks and canapés and also provides a stunning setting for speeches, dancing and more weather permitting.

We are committed to an ethos that promotes a relationship between the landscape, the people and the produce. The Polperro cellar door, is an intimate space featuring wine made by owner/winemaker Sam Coverdale. Sam has over twenty years’ experience in winemaking across several wine regions both within Australia and internationally, his wines are sustainably produced with a clear focus on producing elegant and balanced varietals. Currently, Sam produces wine under two separate labels, Polperro and Even Keel. Polperro wines are a premium, single vineyard label, made from our winery situated on the Mornington Peninsula in Red Hill. Even Keel, is a wine label which celebrates the individual strengths of Australia’s wine regions by sourcing great fruit from multiple vineyards suited to specific varieties.
