Venue Setting

Commissioned by the Bernardo family, Palazzo Nani Bernardo was designed by Architect Vittoria, a student of Sansovino, in the mid-16th century. It graces one of the most picturesque stretches of the Grand Canal, nestled between Ca 'Foscari and Ca Rezzonico. This architectural masterpiece, a true gem, showcases splendid period furnishings and an extensive collection of objects reflecting the eclectic tastes of its owners.

Initially, the main facade of the building, entirely frescoed, was located on the side facing the garden, situated where Ca' Rezzonico stands today. Subsequently, the ancestors of the current owners, about two centuries ago, created a new Italian garden, demolishing a series of houses that faced the opposite side of the Grand Canal of the Palace. This transformation gave the Nani Bernardo Palace a new and harmonious structure, preserved to this day.

Today, the noble floor and the garden serve as a refined venue for cultured guests, offering an ideal setting for meticulously curated atmospheric cocktails and receptions. The palace acts as a privileged balcony to admire Venetian art and its spirit, making it an essential stop to immerse oneself in the opulence and grandeur of a bygone era.

Accessible by private boat, Palazzo Nani Bernardo also provides two private apartments for guests, ensuring an exclusive and luxurious experience in the heart of Venice.
