Venue Setting
We adore this huge loft with its terrace in chic Chelsea. It’s housed in a former industrial building which during its lifetime has been an art and photography gallery, a dance club and originally it’s where the Mint Products Company manufactured Life Saver mints from 1913 to 1916.
Inside, there’s a large stone fireplace, high beamed timber ceilings, vast windows, hardwood floors, and brick-clad cast iron columns. This place is perfect for entertaining your family, friends or business colleagues. The huge 48-foot by 47-foot living and dining room is next to the state-of-the-art chef's kitchen, so you can chat with your guests as you prepare a feast with the top-of-the-range appliances (Miele, Gaggenau, and Viking). There's a 22-foot breakfast bar, as well as the dining table, so there's plenty of room. If all this wasn't enough, there's a spacious private north-facing terrace – the perfect spot for a cosmopolitan cocktail.
The location is as impressive as the home itself. It’s situated in the West Chelsea Arts District – this refined neighbourhood hosts a raft of contemporary art spaces, including the Gagosian (three minutes on foot). The High Line is 100 yards away, while the iconic culinary destination, Chelsea Market, is a six-minute stroll. Or Chelsea Piers, a 28-acre sports complex with rock climbing, golf, baseball and ice hockey facilities, is a four-minute walk.
