Designed to be both a venue and and state-of-the-art production facility, Novelty Hill-Januik is a multi-functional destination which captures the natural beauty of Wine Country and combines it with the essence of clean modernity that is illustrated by its architecture. With bold concrete lines, rich wood accents, and plenty of natural light , Novelty Hill-Januik Winery becomes the perfect setting for a variety of events.

From casual to elaborately elegant, the solid yet airy atmosphere is the perfect blank slate for all of your event designs.
Design:
Mithun Architects have included both indoor and outdoor features to make Novelty Hill-Januik an award winning architectural space. With finished concrete, stainless steel, and warmly colored Ipe wood each unique space flows from one to the next. Our open concept kitchen provides guests the option to see our culinary team at work, while large floor to ceiling windows allow light to flow into each room and illuminate the Wine Cellar below. Our Garden and Patio spaces are protected from street view by towering & low-lying walls, accented glass overhangs, and defined by variations in landscaping styles, including a water feature. All of these elements come together to tell a symbolic story of Washington's Columbia Valley and the many different elements of nature which characterize the Northwest.
Standout Venue Features:
As a Production Facility, Tasting Room, and Event Space guests visiting Novelty Hill-Januik Winery have the option of joining us daily for wine tasting. We are happy to to accomodate groups with reservations and brick oven pizza's from our catering kitchen offered Friday-Sunday, so you can enjoy wines and good company without going hungry.  

You can book your private gathering in one of our four featured spaces each different in their decor and features. Whether you are proposing, getting married, hosting a company get-together or birthday, observing a holiday or important achievement, or celebrating the memory of someone you love, we are prepared to help you create a great experience year-round!

Members of Cellar Circle Wine Club enjoy exclusive invitations to quarterly release parties and six course seasonal dinners that feature favorite current & library wines, many of which have earned 90 points and above from Wine Spectator. With high-end wines at a great cost, excellent customer service, and our great referral perks our members can't help but tell friends about opportunities to join us for special events like personalized bottle-blending and volunteering on our bottling line for a chance to mingle with cellar staff and Winemakers.

About our Executive Chef

Seth Fernald has been in the restaurant industry for over 21 years now. He started washing dishes at the age of 16 at a local restaurant and found how passionate he could be about food. Seth Graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 2001 and has spent the last 14 years honing his craft. As a man of exceptionally high personal standards, Seth values genuine collaboration with the entire staff here at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery.
When Seth moved to Seattle in 2013 he dreamed of getting an opportunity to work in a winery in the Woodinville area. His dream came true that spring when he received the call that Novelty Hill-Januik Winery had selected him to be their newest Executive Chef. Since Seth has been with us at the winery, he has taken all his years of diverse knowledge and applied it to what we believe is the best culinary program the Winery has ever had.
