Nomad is a bit like being on holiday in Narnia. When you’re here, you take a step outside the ordinary. Sleep in unique places, eat exciting food, taste fantastic drinks, let your hair down and enjoy what we call Soul Spa. We do our best to mystify our guests, because their happiness is our happiness.

We want our guests to feel like they're visiting friends. Our hotel is now surrounded by dozens of alternative accommodation options, such as star‑gazing bubbles, bungalows and or so‑called Stair-Houses with a view.
Hello there, and welcome to the Baloghs’!

We’re the third generation managing the hotel and the unique buildings around it.
We started 26 years ago with a campsite ‘in the middle of nowhere’ in Noszvaj‑Síkfőkút. Soon the hotel opened and kept expanding. The campsite gave way to three streamside glamping tents, and we now also have star‑gazing bubbles among the trees, panoramic “Stair-Houses" and the Container House by the lake as well as five cosy family bungalows on the hillside.

Our restaurant offers sustainable cuisine built on traditions, boasting its own potager and vegetable garden. Dishes the way grandma did them, in a modern style. Our breakfasts and dinners are also a treat.

With us, wellness is mainly for the mind: indulgence in the atmosphere of the forest, the lake... just breathe the clean air while you’re exploring the place on foot or on two wheels! Or running if this is what you want. Or slowly. Pace by pace. Soak yourself in the wood‑fired hot tub, cook yourself in the
sauna, get a massage in our covered wagon. Take a dip in the outdoor pool. Bask poolside – we'll bring the gin and tonic. Sit at the bar and have a taste of the wines of the region.

We’re always busy, but we can always manage a drink with our guests.
You'll get friendly and personal attention – we'll call you by name, like friends do.
You can disconnect from the world here, but you also have a good Wi‑Fi signal throughout the premises if you have some work to do or just want to post a nice photo.

The hotel functions in 2 adjacent buildings, with 18 vintagestyle, cosy, wellequipped rooms offering bed and breakfast or halfboard options. Each room has unique furniture. You also have the option of choosing 2, 3 and 4bed rooms.
Glamping
A special and exclusive form of accommodation that has become popular in exotic overseas and African locations and is now also available here in Noszvaj. We fell in love with it during our travels abroad – of course, we have brought it for you to enjoy.
Molly bungalows
Colourful, cosy luxury wooden bungalows with kitchens, on the edge of the forest, an ideal "hideaway" for families of 4-7 and groups of friends. They offer perfect accommodation for corporate events. In winter you can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, and in warmer weather the garden is perfect for a cosy barbecue. Listen to the sounds of nature where the lakes meet the forest.

Inside Scoop

During the summer, the kitchen moves out into the garden on Wednesdays and Saturdays. On these evenings, the BBQ and Smoker party starts at 19:00.

Knocktail - A truly special service only for residents of the Stair-House and the Premium Bubble.
Our bartender prepares the 5 o'clock cocktail on your terrace, he is happy to tell you about the drinks and the ingredients, but afterwards you and the cocktails are left alone. And the forest :)

Picnic basket - Fancy hiking or just lay about in the grass? Nomad provides a "survival kit" for two. It includes a blanket, delicious snacks and drinks. We'll also provide you with a map.

Candle-lit romance. Hidden away from prying eyes, you can enjoy each other's company and a selection of delicacies. We have only one such table available for booking per night. Only outdoors. And only for 2. You might want to book it well in advance. Please do let us know in advance about any food allergies you may have – neither of us wants the evening to be memorable for "that" reason, do we?

The scene:: Here you are surrounded by nothing but nature. We want to make you feel like you're visiting friends, in perfect tranquillity. Set on nearly 3 hectares, our hotel in Noszvaj is now surrounded by dozens of alternative accommodation options, such as star‑gazing “bubbles”, luxury cabin “Stair‑Houses" with a view, cool wooden bungalows with a fireplace and the highly popular “Container House”.
Design:: Nomad is a laid back place
... but we are essentially providing a greenery experience close to nature and, of course, in the spirit of sustainability.

We offer:
- 60-square-metre, singlespace, minimalist, Scandinavian style Stair-houses are located 500 metres from the main building, in the woods at the top of the hillside overlooking the Lower Lake in Síkfőkút. What makes them special is that their nature-oriented design: no trees were cut down for the construction and they feature no partitions inside. Thanks to a special air filtration system, guests with allergies can also enjoy the atmosphere of the “village with the cleanest air".
- bubbles with giant terrace are located 300 metres from the main building, on the hillside overlooking the Lower Lake.
- Twostorey wooden "Molly" bungalows, with fireplace and a personality. Each bungalow has two bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom, a living room, a kitchenette and dining area downstairs
- nestled in nature, this clean Scandinavian minimalist 2bedroom Container house, with the living room overlooking the lake and its own wellequipped kitchen, is one of our most popular accommodations which you should probably book months in advance. Suitable for 4 tops.

Standout venue features:: Europe's two largest glamping bubbles lie 500 metres from the main building, in the woods, at the top of the hillside overlooking the Lower Lake in Síkfőkút.
The two premium bubbles are called King and Ace, because the King and the Ace come after the Jack in French-suited cards, and the Hungarian for “jack” (“bubi”) kind of resembles the word bubble.
Its unique feature is that it was created by the fusion of 4 Bubbles.

The fact that we are the founding members of the Stílusos Vidéki Éttermiség (Stylish Rural Restaurateurs Association) says it all. Offering quality cuisine in our Noszvaj restaurant is at the heart of our mission. We believe in the merrier direction of restaurant culture: while taking our respect for traditions very seriously, we place great emphasis on redefining the best Hungarian dishes. We have also been keen on bringing our most exciting gastronomic experiences from our travels, back to our kitchen.

We have a well‑stocked bar by the pool, offering a great selection of international drinks in which local wines are, needless to say, feature heavily.
