Venue Features
The scene:
MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation is located a block from the Pacific Ocean and is adjacent to the ever-growing Funk Zone in downtown Santa Barbara. We are also next to the Amtrak station so we get great views of the Pacific Surfliner going by! Inside, you will find a modern, open and vibrant environment with interactive exhibits across three floors. The top floor is the Levinson Family Sky Garden which is a stunning rooftop deck with views of all of Santa Barbara. All floors have access to exterior spaces.
Design:
Designed by Barry Berkus, the exterior of MOXI is a sandcastle - complete with a lighthouse and a 'moat.' Each floor is ringed externally with terraces and landscaping. Inside, it has a modern feel that allows for so many types of event style. the showstopper is the glass floor on the rooftop deck - this can be a focal point for any event - including as a glowing dance floor.
Standout venue features:
You can expect the views to do all the heavy lifting rather than bringing in unnecessary decor - the pink hills at sunset to the clouds over the ocean are the perfect backdrop to any event. Your guests can play with the interactive exhibits on all three floors - it's great for all ages! Be sure to check out each Track - there is something for everyone.
