This lovely apartment offers wonderful views of the mountains and is a delightful base from which to head out skiing. It’s peaceful and quiet, but close enough to the action to make it a great holiday home. The Glacier des Bossons chair lift is just thirteen minutes away, so after breakfast in the bright and airy open-plan kitchen and dining area, you can be taking in the breath-taking views in no time. The ski school in Chamonix is only a six-minute drive away, so if you’re a beginner or want to fine-tune any particular skills before hitting the slopes, you’re in luck. After a day in the elements, head back to the apartment for a glass of wine on the balcony, or head into town. The centre of Chamonix is eight minutes away, with a wealth of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. You can be in a cable car headed for Aiguille du Midi in six minutes. This is by far the best way to see the Alps and the splendour of Chamonix and Mont Blanc – take a cable car from Chamonix and after twenty minutes of cruising up the mountains, you’ll be rewarded with 360-degree views. You can take it all the way up, or lace up your hiking boots and walk to pretty Montenvers. There’s so much to see and do in this part of France, and this apartment is ideally situated for all of it.
