- Montpelier has 19 contemporary plantation rooms designed with a light touch and a sense of intimacy. Our open design allows you to move effortlessly between indoors and outdoors, and feel connected to the sights and sounds of island life. The individually decorated rooms are designed for your comfort with sumptuous linens, Egyptian cottons, private verandas, sea breezes and panoramic views. At Montpelier luxury thrives on simplicity. Also, at Montpelier you will find contemporary art. The hotel provides gallery space for Kirk Mechar, a Canadian national who paints in Nevis.

Mill Privée: For a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience, guests can dine in the hotel’s 300-year-old sugar mill, Mill Privée, converted into the only restaurant of its kind in the world. The original sugar mill is completely intact and the well-trodden floor and hand-cut round stonewall infuse historic charm and ambiance. The Mill Privée hosts tasting dinners with wine pairings carefully chosen by the hotel’s sommelier. The five-course tasting menu changes nightly. $95 per person.

- Bars & Lounges:
- The Great Room: Located in the main house, The Great Room is beautifully decorated with two bars and comfortable seating areas providing the perfect setting for evening cocktails and canapés.
Montpelier Beach Bar: Guests enjoy exclusive access to the hotel’s private beach. Located just a short drive in the hotel’s shuttle, the beach is a tranquil place to soak the breathtaking natural setting, while imbibing in cocktails and refreshments from the fully stocked bar.
Pool Bar: During the day, guests can dine poolside at Indigo, which offers a selection of delicious salads, sandwiches, fresh fruits and refreshing drinks. At 5 p.m., Indigo shifts into a lounge bar featuring sharing platters, molecular cocktails, fine wine and champagne. Open 9a.m. to 11p.m.
The Caribbean is the quintessential place to discover and explore fine rums, and to fully complement guests’ culinary experiences, the hotel offers a well- stocked cellar with exceptional wines and aged rums. At one point in its history, Montpelier Plantation produced rum, and the Hoffman family honors this heritage by stocking an extensive collection of the spirit. Additionally, the hotel’s onsite rum connoisseur can describe the distillery process, the Caribbean’s rich rum history and guide guests through a flight of six aged rums. The hotel also features an extensive wine collection.
