- The Scene:
- Originally a warehouse constructed in 1937 by Del Webb, the monOrchid building is an excellent example of adaptive reuse in the city’s core. Through ten years of renovation and invention, the building has morphed into a place for collaboration, creativity, and celebration. Upon entering, you'll walk into a foyer that houses a coffee shop and cafe, and then the building will open up into an expansive industrial room with a cyclorama wall on the left, a full bar on the right, and plenty of open space for seating, dancing, entertainment, ceremonious celebrations, and more.
- Design:
- The cieling is adorned and supported by large wooden tresses and the space itself is a blank canvas waiting to be transformed. The cyclorama wall provides a seamless backdrop for photo and video. Two projectors are available for visual enhancements. Guests have the option to use several white mobile walls that can break up the space or be used for hanging photos, prints, or various other types of artwork, similar to what you would see in a art gallery.
- Standout Venue Features:
- We're located in the heart of the Roosevelt Row Arts District within walking distance of several bars, retaurants, cultural institutions, hotels, and a 10-min walk from the downtown Phoenix core. We also have several murals in the neighborhood that make for one-of-a-kind photo backdrop opportunities.
