Accommodations: The property is composed of the main house and an annex cottage. The main house can sleep up to 20 people (plus 2 spare sofa-beds for 2 extra people) in 8 high standard rooms, all en-suite, and with air conditioning and central heating, and its annex cottage, called "La Caseta", can sleep up to 6 people in 2 different rooms, also en-suite, with air conditioning and central heating. The total sleeping capacity of the villa is 28 people if La Caseta is also rented. We can also provide our guests with 3 cots and 3 high-chairs in case there were babies in the party.

About the annex cottage (La Caseta):

We consider this little house as part of the whole building, and even if it is separated from the main house (Mas Torroella) by the main entrance courtyard, and it has its own garden and garden furniture, we never rent it if it isn't as part of the whole. In this way, only one big group of family and friends stay at the property, not two groups, and they have more privacy and exclusivity. In fact, we offer it as an optional space complement for bigger groups, or for families who bring their own maid/nanny/chauffeur service. So, nobody else will be in the property, except you and your family, and only you will have the exclusive use of the tennis court, pool, and spa.

The scene:: Mas Torroella is a high-end property in the Costa Brava, Spain, situated in a beautiful peaceful location, surrounded by hectares of peaceful woodland with breathtaking views, on the outskirts of Palafrugell, and only 6 km from some of most picturesque and unspoilt beaches to be found along our beautiful coastline: Calella de Palafrugell, Tamariu, Llafranc

It is essentially a self-catering villa and you are able to book it on a weekly basis Friday-Friday during High and Mid Season. In the off-season, however, you can book the villa for a minimum of 3 nights.

It has an indoor Spa with jacuzzi jets, a sauna, a gym, an exterior swimming pool, four different gardens, a tennis court, a table-tennis court, a playground for children, a billiard room, a lovely outside BBQ area next to the big kitchen, sun loungers, various chill-out areas, and many isolated corners to sit and read, or simply relax in the sun. The Villa itself is full of exquisite touches and is difficult to be compared to anything else: you only need to have a look at the lovely reviews some of our guests have written for us on Trip Advisor.

Design:: Mas Torroella was built in the XIV century, but when my father bought it in 1989, it was an abandoned stone ruin crying out to be loved and cared for by somebody.

And he spent most of his life rebuilding it, investing all his love and passion to create his dream. When my father passed away in 2010, my husband and I decided to fulfill his dream and complete the restoration.

Now our historic manor house has been turned into a charming Luxury Villa & Spa. Most of our guests agree that you can feel peace, tranquillity and love inside and outside our house. We are proud of it and must admit that, after a long and hard period of restoration, it has been worthwhile. We have really put lots of effort and all our heart and soul into this project...and I just hope my father would be proud of it if he could see it today.

- Housekeeper, living in a separate cottage within the grounds, available 24 hours a day, from Monday to Saturday.

- Maid service (5 hours a day, Monday to Saturday if the main house is rented, 7 hours a day if the annex is also rented).
- Delivery of freshly baked bread every morning from Monday to Saturday.
- A complimentary arrival basket in the kitchen (Basics, bread, water, fruit, tea, coffee, salt, sugar)
- Some basic cleaning products for the kitchen and laundry room (washing-up liquid, soap powder)
