Making Hay
Venue Setting
Making Hay could easily be a farmhouse somewhere in the Italian countryside. Luckily, however, there are more amenities in the centre of Milan than in a rural village, and both the Duomo and the canals of Navigli are easy to reach on foot. It’s set over three levels (be prepared for some steep stairs), and has a wonderful, rustic tone, set by exposed materials, distressed wood, and bright light. It’s a slight shame that the fireplace is out of action (due to regulations set by the building), but that’s really a very minor gripe.
