Once the home to advisors to kings of France, including Francois I and Louis XIII, today the Logis and its outbuildings have been restored with native materials and the interior design has been interpreted with a contemporary twist.

The scene:
Our property is set on 15 acres in the midst of a large, isolated farm. The buildings date to the 15th C and there are vestiges in outbuildings dating to between the 9th and 11th C. With donkeys, sheep, horses and fowl framing the agricultural setting, the venue is ideal for those seeking privacy in a natural environment where contact with nature is paramount.
Design:
Native limestone, rusted metal and limed-oak are the principal design materials used in the renovation, and have been used with a contemporary-edge. As a listed historical monument in France, the Logis de Puygaty is the ultimate in country-chic.
Standout venue features:
Each rental of the site is exclusive to that client, and walks around the property boast passages through forests, fields, rivers and a lake. Yet at the same time complimentary wi-fi and televisions, dvd players and mini-bars in each room.
Extra perks:
Brasero's and torches lit at sunset accentuate the magic of this medeival setting. In addition, the rental fee includes use of up to 14 candelabra, 8 round-tables each seating up to 10 people, and 8 canvas-covered 'tivoli,' usually used to frame the dining tables when positioned on the courtyard lawn.
