Walking trails and riverside paths are on your doorstep if you want to get out in nature, and the buzzing coastal town of Whitby is an eight-minute drive away. There’s plenty to do back at home though with a dedicated cinema room in the basement and a games room with a pool table – we love the added touch of light-up pool balls. The open kitchen, living and dining room on the ground floor scream sleek 60s-chic with tangerine geometry against an otherwise pristine white canvas. The stunning chandelier above the dining table is another nod to mid-century entertaining straight out of Beverly Hills. In the garden, you’ll find a deck with a barbecue for alfresco dining and a hot tub for nights under the stars. Rolling hills unfold across the landscape as far as the eye can see.
