Part of an Edwardian castle with two thousand acres of grounds surrounding, this apartment lets you embrace the life of the aristocracy, just on a slightly smaller scale. Many of the original features remain, such as the stripped-back blond hardwood floor and the bespoke Art Deco spiral staircase, and there are a few antique pieces, like the Persian rug, the range of beds and the upcycled wood-burner stove. That being said, the interior feels thoroughly modern and is a lovely place to return to after being a long day in the great outdoors. There's a lot to discover within the grounds of the estate, from waterfalls and lochs to beaches and walled gardens.
