We would love nothing more than to wake up every morning here and look out over the waters as we eat breakfast and get ready for the day ahead. Spend days at the nearest beach – Spiaggia di Castello – which is just eighteen minutes away by car, or explore the history of the area and visit sites such as the church of San Francesco and San Martino, or the rice gardens and architecture of Villa Bettoni and Villa Feltrinelli – roughly twenty to thirty-two minutes away by car. For those who are looking for outdoor pursuits and sports, there is plenty on offer locally, including watersports such as sailing and windsurfing – which can be reached within twenty-nine minutes by car, horse riding – which is a twenty-five-minute drive away, and golf – just twenty-one minutes away by car. In the evening, choose between dining in one of the nearby restaurants and cafes, which are about three to five minutes away by car, or cooking at home on the barbecue and dining alfresco in the shared garden.
