A special self catering events venue based near Carsington Reservoir, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Knockerdown is a DIY exclusive use site which includes accommodation, function room, use of a swimming pool, games room, children's play area, parking and fabulous meadow.

A truly unique destination venue awaits you and your guests at Knockerdown. Fiona and Justeen welcome you to our wonderful countryside residence where you will find your every need catered for by our friendly and experienced events team.

Our highly experienced team are on hand to offer advice, recommend suppliers and local knowledge to help you create a great experience. You can appoint a caterer of your choice, choose your own entertainment, decorations, photographer, cake maker, and bring in your own drinks (no corkage charge from us!) We can offer as much support as you need or if you are wanting a more laid back affair, with the freedom to enjoy the ‘do it yourself’ option, we can step back and let you enjoy the site.

Accommodations: Our sixteen holiday cottages can provide accommodation for up to 93 guests. Each cottage is individually styled with all the facilities you would expect to find in a self catering holiday cottage. Our site is situation in the Derbyshire Dales, approximately 6 miles from Ashbourne, 15 miles from Derby and on the door step of the beautiful Carsington Reservoir.
All cottages come with TV & DVD player in the lounge space, and free WiFi. A well equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, glasses and utensils. Each bedroom has ample drawer and wardrobe space. All bed linen is provided along with two towels per person. Each cottage has a hairdryer, iron & ironing board and we can provide high chairs on request.
On site facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, children’s play area, a communal games room and lots of grounds to explore.
Four of our cottages are also Dog Friendly so four legged friends can join in the celebrations too.

Knockerdown is nestled in rural Derbyshire on the cusp of the Peak District National Park. This private countryside residence was originally a working farmand has been lovingly restored to create a charming and unique private residence.

Knockerdown consists of the purpose built Brackendale Suite (named after the local Brackendale Brook), Indoor Heated Swimming Pool, Games Room, Private Meadow, Wedding Garden Gazebo and sixteen individually styled country cottages that can accommodate up to 93 guests. This is all available for you to use as part of our bespoke service.

Beautiful trees wrap around the estate offering seclusion and privacy and creating a sense of peaceful tranquillity, from the moment you arrive. Once you have parked your car and settled in you really are a world away from anywhere, however Knockerdown is conveniently located for all amenities. The beautiful market town of Ashbourne is just a 10 minute drive away, here you will find an array of shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets should you wish to head out for supplies.
