We’re a unique destination, perfect for individuals, groups and event organizers seeking a truly special and secluded space. Kibayo consists of a stunning villa and secluded tropical garden with lagoon access. The villa is can accommodate 16 guests. The garden is open exclusively as event space and can accommodate up to 200 standing guests and up to 50 seated guests.

Discover hidden treasures, including a secret private ‘island’, a tropical bar facility, a big thatched seating area, two bamboo tiki bars that can also serve as a DJ booth, a multi functional cabana, fire pit area, two toilets and quality WiFi throughout the property.

Offering six private rooms, each featuring its own bathroom, a shared outdoor bathroom, plunge pool, spacious indoor living and kitchen area, outdoor kitchen, private garden with multiple seating areas, hammock area, daily cleaning and quality WiFi thoughout the villa.

The dynamic space is ideal for retreats, film or photoshoots, intimate weddings, corporate events, workshops, pop-up shows, private events such as dinners, bar mitzvah, birthdays, babyshowers, and other special occasions. By combining the rental of the complete villa with the event garden, you have the opportunity to enjoy the entirety of Kibayo exclusively for yourself. It is also possible to only rent the event garden.

We offer something truly special, our secluded location is nestled next to a National Park. National Park El Choco offers a world of nature for hiking, mountain biking, fresh water lagoons and caves. Our big secluded garden offers a beautiful view over the park and private entrance into the lagoon of the park. In addition, Kibayo is also located next to the Atlantic Ocean with the world famous Kite Beach within walking distance. Just a 10 minute drive from the center of Cabarete and Sosua whick offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars, clubs and much more.

Kibayo is tastefully decorated in calming, natural colors. The rooms all have en-suite and a little terrace. The top level rooms have wraparound balconies with views over the lagoon. The backyard has a swimming pool and comfy lounge areas.
Design:: Kibayo opened its doors in December 2021. Altough it was an existing building, the owners gave it a complete transformation and makeover. Kibayo is filled with thoughtful decoration, using only natural colors and materials sourced exclusively from the island. Most of our decorations are handmade. As a result, the entire space exudes a serene and earthy vibe that's sure to bring you peace and tranquility.

The Kibayo guests have a private entrance into the lagoon of the National park.
