If you’re a fan of the film, you’ll remember the home as Tom Cruise’s co-star Kelly McGillis’ residence. Moved from its original location on Pacific Street to the oceanfront courtyard of the Mission Pacific Hotel, this nostalgic gem maintains a classic interior with an All-American feel. Venue Features

The Scene:: High Pie is located inside the famous and nostalgic Top Gun House and it looks out upon a sprawling oceanfront view. The 500 square-foot house was originally built in 1887 by Dr. Henry Graves. As the new home of High Pie, the house maintains its original blue Victorian cottage exterior, with billowing sheer curtains on the windows lining an outdoor porch with a hanging swing.
Design:: High Pie embraces the history and the true American military and film nostalgia with a fresh touch of “New Americana.” The renovated interior is adorned with bold, retro signage, Victorian era panels and an upholstered fireplace. Fun design touches such as Top Gun set photos, historical imagery of both Oceanside and the Graves House, vintage furniture and more.
Standout Venue Features:: The serving counter has deli-style display cases and shelves, and pies are featured on a Willy-Wonka-esque conveyor belt.
