- The Scene:
- Hideout was built and handcrafted in 2015 by the support of many local workers. Bamboo itself mainly comes from a small village of Iseh, close to the land. Extra attention was paid to the environment. We wanted to be sustainable, that’s why we decided to build a water wheel which became our main source of power and water.
We were building hideout about 4 months, another 2 months we were dedicated to water wheel, which wouldn’t happen without tri hita karana foundation. Three skilled workers and us – that’s all it took. lots of work, dreams and sweat to make it all happen.
This bamboo house was built with great love and care, with comfort in the mind. What we cherrish the most are those moments in the morning sun – fog on the river, soft light, birds everywhere, cats cuddling on the couch and favourite music playing from the stereo system. We hope that every traveller who will come accross this place will be at least as happy as we were during our life in bali, the island of god. - Standout Venue Features:
