- Food, Restaurants, Cafes:
Our Café brings together all of the elements we believe in: responsible farming, ingredient-driven cooking, and flavorful food. Located in the heart of our space, the café features an open kitchen, wood-burning oven, and house-made products. Our menus change daily, inspired by what’s in season, and reflect our commitment to local farmers and producers. Whether you gather at our community table, find a seat at the counter, or take an outside table overlooking the creek, we invite you to join us and share in the bounty of our kitchen.
SHED Café now offers dinner service. Chef Hoffman‘s new dinner menu is inspired by the global influences in his home state, where techniques, tools, and an international pantry all come together on the plate for a “uniquely California” experience. Diners can expect a larger selection of savory dishes for sharing, such as Mendocino Sea Urchin with Local Seaweeds; Charred Leek Terrine with Nantucket Scallops; Salad of Heirloom Carrots and Dates with Wild Pecans, Salted Yogurt, and Rhazets Lettuce; and Farro Verde and Crema di Lardo with Chanterelles, Celery Root, and Broccoli di Cicco.
Perry Hoffman comes to us from a celebrated run as the chef of étoile at Domaine Chandon, where he was awarded a Michelin star for three years running. His culinary focus at SHED is built around the mission to showcase the links between responsible farming, ingredient-driven cooking, and flavorful food, He says, “The garden tells me what to cook.”
Endeavoring to showcase the freshest locally grown food of the season means that we update our menus constantly in order to serve you what’s ready for harvest right now. It also means that we all can eat more deeply from the land, trying things that we might otherwise not have the chance to. Our kitchen team loves the challenge!
Much of the food we serve is grown within a 10-mile radius of our kitchen, whether it comes from our own HomeFarm or is grown by one of our neighboring producers. This allows us to support small family ranchers and farmers and feed you the freshest, healthiest, most delicious food possible. We wouldn’t have it any other way.- Bars & Lounges:
We believe that our fermentation bar is the only one of its kind in the country; we know that the drinks we serve are delicious! Choose from house-made kombucha and kefir water or try one of our Shrubs. We also offer local wine, beer, hard cider, honey mead, and natural sodas. A Shrub is an old-fashioned refresher once common for slaking a farmer’s thirst, our unique house made Shrubs are composed from our own vinegars, as well as fresh herbs and seasonal fruit.

In addition to the food produced at HomeFarm, SHED depends on the work of many local farms and ranches, most of them located within 10 miles, and the diligence of many fine artisans.
