Get a good seat on the cocktail patio for sunset, it has the best view. Take a walk around the 93-acre property, there are lots of cleared paths. Grab a drink from one of the roving vintage bar carts. Help yourself to an apple from the ancient apple grove. Enjoy s'mores around the giant bonfire.

Handsome Hollow is a stunning, 93-acre property with fields, meadows, creeks and pine forests. It has total privacy and stunning mountain views. Set in an open, 5-acre field, is the barn, originally built in 1780. It has 4,200sf of entertaining space with soaring cathedral ceilings, and beautiful hand-hewn beams, as well as a lovely 1000sf bluestone cocktail patio, perfectly situated to catch the sunset. Also on the property, is the 120-year old, 3 bedroom farmhouse. All of its original details have been kept intact, but reimagined in a chic, stylish way.
Design:
Farmhouse chic. Each and every design choice has been carefully made, staying true to the past and adding a surprising element of the present.
Extra perks:
Tables and chairs seating up to 200 guests. A caterers prep area, with commercial refrigeration and commercial ice machine. A gorgeous, vintage 8-ft long farmer's table, an equally gorgeous 8-foot long bench with a bit of yellow paint still visible from years of use. Each can be used any way you wish. Three vintage portable bar carts. Vases, lanterns, jars, pitchers, buckets.

A History Lesson From The Historical Homestead of Handsome Hollow
What started out as a weekend home away from the hustle of NYC, has turned into a stunningly renovated modern retreat ready for your romantic nuptials or primed to accommodate your big family venture, and to think just over 14 years ago, this historic homestead would’ve appeared to be in desperate need of a bulldozer. According to Kate, the owner of Handsome Hollow when her and her husband Huck saw the homestead for the first time, it had ceiling fans and spray paint adorned the walls. These days, it’s reno’d interiors boast gallery walls, fine vintage furniture, and enough embellished detailing to make even the most crate and barrel enthused blush.
