The Hamill House Museum, built 1867, and located in the Historic town of Georgetown, Colorado, is a spectacular mountain venue property that boasts expansive green lawns, manicured gardens, majestic stone outbuildings, beautiful trees and a 19th century fountain. Located 45 minutes west of Denver, we are the perfect choice for those wishing a unique mountain experience. We are inclusive of all. We are primarily an outdoor venue. Our staff will work with you personally to ensure every detail is taken care of. The Hamill House Museum is situated in the heart of the Georgetown-Silver Plume National Historic Landmark District.
The house and outbuildings date back to 1867-1882.
During the Victorian era the grounds and buildings belonged to silver baron William Arthur Hamill (third great-grandfather to Mark Hamill aka Luke Skywalker).
Just to name a few of its spectacular details, The Hamill House boasts a gorgeous arching Gothic Revival front gable window and stunning original Lord and Burnham conservatory overlooking its sprawling side lawn.
