Venue Setting

We are proud to share our unique historic venue which was originally a cut flower production greenhouse dating back to 1890. We have a total of 9 rolling acres which includes several historic greenhouse spaces, outdoor nursery garden spaces, with an outdoor fireplace, outdoor kitchen, and outdoor Amphitheater. We have many amazing backdrops for photo opportunities.

We allow our guests a lot of flexibility with their details. We do provide the tables and can arrange the rentals of the chairs, linens, table settings. We are a historic Greenhouse, Garden Center and full service Florist with a lot of props (Plants, containers, vintage fixtures, etc.). We do allow some set up with what we have available, but may charge extra fees for more extensive setup

We have a kitchen, extra coolers and have multiple staging areas for food prep, dressing and setup. We have multiple parking option onsite and across the street to accommodate larger events. We also have a golf cart available guests who need assistance.

Venue Features
The Scene:
The setting is so beautiful with rolling topography and an ever changing landscape with different plants and garden accents because we are an active garden business. We also have chickens and goats on the premises for fun. The rich history of the greenhouses and business dating back to 1890 make this truly one of the most unique venues. It is large enough to host over 300 guests, but has so many interconnected structures that you could scale it down to be a very intimate gathering.
Standout Venue Features:
There are so many ways to utilize the different spaces to accommodate the needs of your event. If for example you wish to use the outdoor Amphitheater for a ceremony, we have the flexibility to moving that part of the evening inside to an adjacent greenhouse in case of inclement weather.
Extra Perks:
We have a fabulous full service florist that can handle all of your floral needs and we like to use locally grown flowers as well as tropical plants and leaves for interesting texture when appropriate from our own greenhouses. You are not charged setup fees for the flowers if you use our facility. We are also flexible on allowing you to decorate and put your own personal touches in our space for up to 3 days prior to your event depending on other scheduled events. Since we are a full service florist, garden store, greenhouse and landscape nursery, there are opportunities to utilize many of our plants and garden accents as props to add unique details to your decorating. You have an advantage of using your own caterers and supplying your own beverages.
Awards & Notables Our core business is custom residential landscaping and we have received several local and national awards for our design as well as being recognized for many community service awards. We have hosted many featured events for National and Internationally recognized authors for book signings, art openings, etc. Our venue was featured in Brides Magazine in 2013 for one of our weddings. We have also been the locations for several short films and commercials.
Celebration Locations
Landscape House:
The 'Landscape House' is a very flexible space approcimately 135ft X 40ft. It is perfect for using for food stations, bar, and extra seating or by itself for a smaller (100+ guests) gathering. There are a couple of garden displays planted inside with a combination of gravel and paved areas and internal rooms (including our Landscape office) that make it perfect for multiple reasons including an area that can hold 175 guests for a ceremony if you needed to bring it indoors. Event Room:
This greenhouse is directly adjacent to the Landscape House and is an open floor plan 33ft X 100ft. It also has insulated walls, stained cement floor and infrared heat and ventilation making it a year round facility. It is commonly used as the reception and dance floor area for a wedding or as a separate area for a smaller event.

Amphitheater and Nursery:
This is the largest flexible outdoor area as part of our 9 acre sight with multiple features. It includes the Amphitheater, outdoor fireplace, Outdoor kitchen, and bulb cooler. The greatest feature is the Amphitheater which is built on the side of a hill with natural seating that when combined with extra chairs can hold at least 250 guests . It is perfect for a ceremony, concerts, movies as well as theatrical performances. The bulb cooler is an interesting structure built into the ground that is used for

Tropical Greenhouse and Florist:
This area is in the front of our business where the bulk of our retail occurs. It comprises several greenhouses that at one time were used for growing cut flowers dating back to 1890. The greenhouse area covers about 10,000 square feet connected to the historic 900 sq ft Florist. This is a perfect gathering place for small events up to 200 for strolling or a combination of a small wedding ceremony of 80 guests to also include a reception during cooler months. Perennial House:
This is a partially open retail greenhouse area with a roof overhead, but open sides for air movement full of thousands of perennial plants. It is about 40ft X 150ft and is a great place to host a farm to table dinner for up to 85 guests or a gathering place for up to 150+ . It connect directly with the Nursery which makes it a perfect supplemental space for use for larger events.
