Venue Setting

A former Gold & Gem Panning operation on the Second Broad River turned riverfront Camping + Glamping Cabins. This little slice of paradise was once a part of the United States' first gold rush, in one of the most bustling regions in the early 1800s.

Gold River Camp is a small campground with a communal vision in mind, Our glamping cabins give you a comfortable place to rest at night, and our grounds are meant for interaction. Featuring an open air pavilion, common area fire pits, accessible grills, horseshoe pit and more.

Gold River is the perfect base camp for your adventures; with dozens of activities within 30 minutes of Marion, NC, you won't be short of entertaining options to choose from. We hope you have a Golden Getaway!

Total we can sleep 34 in Cabins/Glamping Tents (this is with 2 per bed in Queen beds. Total beds/futon we have 18 separate).
If anyone wants to tent camp, we can host up to 50 total or 6 tents + Bring-your-own RV Accommodations

Prior to being a gold a gem panning operation, this property sat in the dead-center for the US' first gold rush. Over 500,000 miners worked the area, searching these rivers for the shiny stuff. Our property, on the corner of Polly Spout Road has a rich and sassy history, propelled by Miss Polly herself. You'll have to personally ask for the juicy details ;)

The scene:
Our property is nestled on 5 acreas along the Second Broad River. Formerly a Gold and Gem Panning operation, in 2021 this was rentovated to a modern-day Glamping Campground. You will find your own tiny community comprised of tiny cabins, glamping tents and primitive tent camping, with a sleek, black exterior. We have several platforms, decks, and socializing areas for your group! Enjoy a fire in one of our several community fire pits and allow the rushing waters to relax you.
Design:
Former bunk cabins, renovated to trendy, boho-chic tiny cabins. Each cabin/tent has unique decor and was individually curated.
Extra perks:
picnic tables available for use, 2 propane grills, 2 charcoal grills, pavilion with Keurig, toaster oven. Laid back atmosphere with the ability to transform everything to your liking!
