Built in 1928 by a wealthy Hollywood movie investor, this historic beloved manor has always been a haven to all who enter. Lose yourself in the charm of a simpler time as you wander through the corridors in the delight of timeless details and antique treasures. Enjoy rustic, elegant accommodations in an old-fashioned, endearing setting while enjoying all the modern amenities of today's world. We invite you to come to and experience the magic of the Gold Mountain Manor and see for yourself why we are often referred to as the "hidden gem" of Big Bear Mountain.

Relax in the formal living room or our comfortable great room. Grab a freshly brewed espresso and a snack from the guest kitchen and snuggle up with a book in a leather chair, play a game of billiards, watch the big screen TV, or challenge another guest to a game of checkers or cards. We have an excellent library of books, DVDs, and puzzles.

Step through the oversized, log dutch door leading to our classic wrap-around veranda. Grab a cup of tea and sip the day away in our lush garden surrounded by flowering trees, rose bushes, and towering ponderosa pines while listening to the sounds of birds chirping as squirrels and chipmunks scamper around. As the sun sets into the night, enjoy a peaceful evening in one of our old-fashioned rocking chairs on our elegantly illuminated veranda. You will feel like you have just stepped back in time to the Great Gatsby.

At the end of the day, retreat to one of our seven uniquely adorned guest rooms each graciously appointed with a private bathroom, fireplace, and inviting plush bed draped with lusciously soft linens. Indulge together in our luxurious, romantic soak in one of our charming, old-fashioned clawfoot tubs, and then settle in for the night with some popcorn, hot cocoa, and your favorite classic movie.

As the sun rises over the mountain top, awake to the inviting aroma of fresh-baked croissants, roasted potatoes, and farm-fresh breakfast meats. Select your favorite morning beverage and take your place at one of our vintage dining tables dressed in elegant linens and charming place settings. Breakfast begins with our signature yogurt parfait with fresh berries and granola, followed by one of our delicious, signature dishes.
