Located in Encinitas, one California's few remaining original quaint coastal towns, the area is known for its picturesque natural beauty, conscious yoga community and abundant surf, making it a truly special location. Four Moons offers traditional spa services, alternative healing experiences, a thoughtfully curated boutique, classes and workshops and events space.

From the moment guests arrive on property thru the pyramid portal, they are immersed in a spiritually vibrant environment that transcends space and time. Located on stunning private grounds, globally inspired, natural design elements ignite familiarity of once traveled destinations. The space is comprised of several buildings encircling a large garden courtyard with traditional Balinese bales situated over a tranquil koi pond and waterfall. Guests can sip tea on outdoor daybeds amidst a coastal landscape of succulents and tropical palms.

The space is magical and has been designed to be in harmony with the natural environment. We have included details inspired by our world travels taking elements from abroad but not recreating any one place in order to create another worldly experience.

The scene:
We are located in one of California’s few remaining original coastal surf towns, oozing with character and hosting half a dozen gorgeous beaches along our coastline. Ranging from the perfect for the whole family Moonlight beach to Swami’s, one of the worlds best surfing beaches, our property is a short walk to some of California’s most beautiful beaches. In addition, we are steps from South Coast Highway 101, which is full of fantastic restaurants, juice bars, wine bars, coffee shops and shopping.

Guests enter the main property through a triangle portal flanked by vessels of burning incense. The property is quiet and secluded, evoking the feeling of stumbling into a secret garden hideaway; large cactus, bamboo, palms and tropical plants surround the central space. Sweet little cottages and bungalows dot the perimeter of the garden and house our gathering spaces. It is a tranquil oasis in which to hold events. Guests can choose to lounge on our beautiful vintage Balinese daybeds, hang out by the koi pond and waterfall or enjoy the many hidden touches on the property.

It's no secret that Encinitas is the beach town to beat – world class surfing (yes, pro surfers included), an abundance of adorable and most likely vegan eateries, community meditation gardens, yoga studios aplenty and boutique shopping like no other all call this stretch of coastline home. When we were introduced to the ladies behind this town's newest spa and wellness center, our excitement was all sorts of positive vibrations. Designed to feel like all of your worldly travels rolled up into one beautiful space, Four Moons Spa is bringing holisitic healing and wellness treatments to San Diego County.
