Once owned by the Madonna family, this turn of the century farmhouse and 100 acre ranch combines old world artistry with modern amenities. The Flying Caballos Ranch is located in the rolling hills of Edna Valley, minutes from wine country and downtown San Luis Obispo.

The Flying Caballos Ranch is located in the rolling hills of Edna Valley, just five minutes from downtown San Luis Obispo. We offer a very unique property that has several wedding ceremony and reception sites for 250+ guests as well as four historic rental homes that can accommodate up to 24 overnight guests.

The expansive grounds surrounding the farmhouse offer breathtaking views of Islay Hill and Edna Valley. The backyard features two outdoor restrooms and showers, a large wood bbq, fire pit with lounge furniture, an elevated Redwood hot tub, built-in dance floor, antique bistro lighting, and an outdoor sound system.

We are so excited to announce the addition of our incredible 4,000 sq. ft. barn on the Flying Caballos Ranch! The barn is complete with indoor & outdoor catering areas, permanent restrooms, gorgeous bar, vintage lighting, and more!

The Flying Caballos Ranch is the perfect place for a getaway with friends & family and also serves as an incredible spot to host your private celebration such as a family reunion, graduation party, corporate retreat, or wedding.

Our three story honeymoon suite provides the best views of edna valley and neighboring vineyards- located just down the hill from our main venue site it is private enough to get away together, but close enough to join all your friends and family staying in our 3 other homes up the hill. No more time wasted trying to round up all your loved ones! Everything you need is right here on site for your wedding weekend getaway or family reunion bash!

The Scene:
Our property is set on 100 acres and provides unobstructed views of the beautiful Edna Valley rolling hills. We have three homes to accommodate up to 24 guests. As an added bonus we also include our three story honeymoon suite for the night of their wedding! Waking up just down the hill from your friends and family is a perfect way to spend the day after your celebration playing yard games and BBQ ing one last day on the ranch- Letting it all soak in.
Design:
Our Venue boasts a red wood hot tub, built in dance floor, and a big fire pit for guests to enjoy throughout their stay. Our built in tiki torches, antique lighting and BBQ's are a nice touch too! Several historic structures remain on site and add an authentically artistic and rustic backdrop for phenominal photography. Walk out in the rolling fields surrounding the venue for some magical sunset photos!
