In fact, this award-winning wedding venue could have been designed with breathtaking events in mind when it was first built, over 300 years ago. Originally at the heart of Georgian society, this beautiful, privately owned house is once again taking prime position for some of the most talked about weddings and events in the country.

The scene:
Nestled next to the market town of Fetcham, this dynastic property rose to fame during the reign of William & Mary. As soon as you step into the Great Hall, you'll be enveloped by the dramatic murals by Louis Laguerre depicting scenes from ancient mythology throughout the Shell Room and Grand Staircase. Step into The Salon and have your breath taken away by the thousands of books of gold leaf that adorn the room around an iconic chandelier. Relax in the chic surroundings of the Bridal Dressing Room and glimpse the perfectly tended gardens through any window and watch a multitude of water features dance for you and your guests. Dance the night away surrounded by your loved ones in a Great Hall that has witnessed three centuries of celebrations.
Design:
Fetcham Park is a magnificent Grade II* listed house built in 1705. It boasts designs by William Talman, Comptroller of the King's works; breahtaking baroque murals by Louis Laguerre, whose work can also be seen at Blenheim Palace and Chatsworth; and gardens originally landscaped by George London that now feature stunning fountains and manicured grounds. Having recently undergone a cosmetic refurnishment in 2015, the house now marries together the treasured heritage of original features with luxury contemporary furnishings, ensuring that Fetcham Park remains timelessly luxurious.

Extra perks:

Fetcham Park has the benefit of a number of locations both inside the house and out in the gardens. It has been used extensively for fashion shoots which showcase the range and potential of the house for photographs both for the couple and groups.

The ground floor cloakrooms have ornate marble walls. They have fresh towels, scented candles and luxury handwash for every wedding. The ladies’ cloakroom also has a full-height mirror.

All rooms have large windows; The Salon enjoys triple aspect. Tea lights and storm lanterns can be used as desired.

Included in the hire cost are:
- gold chiavari chairs for ceremonies and dining
- 5’6” round tables x 7, seating 10 people N.B. If using ‘beaded’ charger plates, you should only seat 9 guests per table due to the size of each place setting
- 8’4” oval tables x 2, seating 10 people
