It is a luxury room of 78 square meters in noble white. Above the door is a portrait of Emperor Rudolf II (1552 - 1612) and the hall itself is dominated by a fireplace with the coat of arms of Buol-Schauenstein, surrounded by allegorical animal representations. To the left and right of the fireplace, two figures are watching in their niches.

All the rooms have been lavishly renovated and restored respecting history and tradition, with attention to detail. The fascinating connection between historical elements and modern facilities is another highlight.

With this holiday residence, we now have the opportunity to make part of this facility available to the public. As this castle is of national importance and I, like my children, grew up here, we wish to have visitors who treat the rooms and facilities with appreciation and respect.

In addition, different works of art by the artist Corinna Franke enrich the residence. The castle inspired her so much that some of the exhibited works were created before the big renovation in the Knights' Hall. For other works and information, visit the website www.corinna-franke-art.ch .

Carrie Gibson and Sella Caviezel are a very sympathetic and helpful administrative couple who are always at your side. They occupy another floor of the building next to the holiday residence. They are looking forward to your visit and will be happy to help and advise you.
