Venue Setting

One of Fedora’s best kept secrets is the private dining room hidden below the restaurant. A walk down the stairs will lead you to the intimate, candle-lit room, ideal for enjoying drinks and dinner with a group of up to ten people. With charming exposed brick walls and caricatures from the original Fedora crew adorning the walls, the room features a single vintage wooden table.
The entire restaurant space is also available for buyouts for larger events.

Venue Features
The Scene:
Fedora is a historic Greenwich Village restaurant unlike any other. Originally owned for 50+ years by a local legend Fedora who operated the restaurant as a hangout for Village creatives, she passed the space on to us in 2011 (she was familiar with our restaurants Joseph Leonard and Jeffrey's Grocery and liked that they provided the same type of neighborhood gathering place feel that she had created). The restaurant is a modern speakeasy - sunken below street level it's an inviting and sexy room with great energy and an intimate feel.
Design:
Fedora balances classic Village ambiance with a modern sensibility. Hip hop photography adorns the walls and a beautiful large bar dominates the room. The space also includes an intimate private dining room in the cellar, with a large wooden table at the center and decorated with caricatures of the original Fedora crew. There's also a private back garden where the restaurant grows herbs in season.
Awards & Notables Fedora has been named one of the best West Village restaurants by Refinery 29, and the private dining room was recently featured in The Infatuation. The restaurant has also been covered by various local and national media outlets, and served as a setting for the new Ed Burns TNT show Public Morals.
