You can arrange for staffers to greet your guests with champagne or signature cocktails upon arrival at Ellis Island, and the parks service can provide tour guides to lead guests around the grounds and through the historic building to add an interactive element to your day. Plus, you can arrange for a fireworks display to cap off your celebration, with the Statue of Liberty in the background.

Venue Features
The Scene:
Set on Ellis Island, events may be located on our expansive grassy lawn for outdoor parties featuring a view of the NYC skyline, the Statue of Liberty, the sunset over the water. As guests disembark the private ferry bringing them on a scenic sail to reach the island, they may be greeted by champagne-bearing servers or custom bars and cocktail party stations for their enjoyment. We've even had costumed actors performing the roles of wide-eyed immigrants, sharing stories with party guests. A dramatic entrance to the Ellis Island historic building can be illuminated with thousands of candles and with musical performances, and guests proceed to the Registry Room that is often decorated in luxury style with custom lighting, custom bars, and a variety of table arrangements.
Design:
Our historic landmark venue allow guests to wander about, taking in our museum displays, marveling in the histories of immigrants -- some very notable -- who began new lives in America with their path taking them straight through our establishment.
Standout Venue Features:
The ability to bring in custom bars allows the party hosts to use our expansive space to create their dream party setting. We've had Tuscan fountains brought in, light-up bars in modern style, mahogany bars, and other grand features. We also have smaller rooms for more intimate gathering, and our lawn can be arranged with colorful cabana or lounge couch seating for enjoyment of the views.
Awards & Notables We have won many awards for our eco-friendly initiatives and The Knot recently named one of our weddings as among the best weddings of 2013.
