Despite the name, the reality of Covent Garden isn’t the serene green space that first comes to mind. And the centre of this hive of buzzing bars, cafés, boutiques, and restaurants is less than five minutes from this home. Your duplex flat feels urban, modern, and spacious. An industrial vibe to the decor is created by brickwork outside huge windows with thick, black frames, which continues on in the concrete-colour tiled bathroom. While the colour palette on both floors is very neutral, what you’ll find outside is quite the opposite. As red double-decker buses are whizzing around you, six minutes away at the iconic Trafalgar Square, head inside to view world-famous paintings at the National Gallery. While an eight-minute walk (or a very quick ride in a black cab) will take you to theatre shows and musicals at Shaftesbury Avenue. Or for a mixture between the two – both fine arts and music – head to the Royal Opera for the evening, five minutes from your flat. We recommend stopping in somewhere local for a gin cocktail on the way back.
