The scene:
Stepping into DOC Winebar is like being whisked away to the heart of the Mediterranean. The warm, vibrant ambiance is steeped in the rustic charm of Sardinian culture, with earthy tones, natural materials, and traditional Sardinian masks and textiles gracing the walls. Dimly lit by tall, flickering candles on every table, the setting is nothing short of magical. Our guests often say, "DOC Winebar is hands down the most romantic spot in all of Williamsburg." Come see for yourself!
Design:

Step into DOC Winebar, and you’ll find yourself immersed in a space that effortlessly captures the soul of Sardinia and the broader Mediterranean. Every corner of the restaurant reflects an authentic yet refined aesthetic, blending rustic charm with thoughtful design elements.
Each room offers its own distinct charm while staying true to the Mediterranean theme. Whether you’re seated in the cozy, rustic small room or the spacious, Mediterranean-inspired large room, you’ll find an atmosphere that is both inviting and inspiring. To enhance the experience, both spaces are equipped with their own fully stocked bars, making every visit seamless and enjoyable.

The Small Dining Room
This intimate space exudes warmth with its wooden furnishings, including a large communal table surrounded by cozy seating. Shelves brimming with wine bottles line the walls, offering a nod to the restaurant’s deep appreciation for fine wine. Sardinian tapestries and traditional masks add an artistic, cultural touch, while earthy tones and dim lighting from flickering candles set the stage for a truly romantic dining experience.

The Large Dining Room
The larger dining area transports guests to a breezy Mediterranean haven. Open and airy, the room features curved lines and irregular shapes inspired by nature, embodying a contemporary coastal vibe. White arches with wooden inserts, reminiscent of J. Coelle’s architectural style, serve as striking focal points, while exposed brick walls add texture and character. Natural materials are thoughtfully integrated, from the wooden beams overhead to subtle details in the furnishings.
