As the desert light fades, sit by the fire pit, dine on the patio under the bistro lights, or unwind in the six-person hot tub. Our favourite place is the hammocks, looking up at a sky full of diamonds – this place is terrific for stargazing. Indoors, relax on the sofa with a beer or challenge someone to a game on the foosball table – this home is made for entertaining. Your lovely hosts can also help set up spa and meditation sessions, as well as a private chef and movie nights, amongst many other activities. If you can tear yourself away from this desert paradise – go for a hike in the stunning Joshua Tree National Park – it's only a ten-minute drive to the north entrance.
