Inside Scoop

Only a destination as highly noted as Craft and Commerce could make a mockery of low-rated Yelp reviews. Be sure to listen out for the tongue-in-cheek audible readings when you head to the restroom!

Venue Features
The scene:
The ambitious, culinary-meets-social engineering project in the heart of Little Italy initiated a cultural revival of sorts in San Diego’s urban dining scene. Boasting one of the most talked about social experiences the city has to offer, Craft & Commerce regularly serves up seasonal eats and award-winning cocktails to a returning crowd of affable locals.
Design:
Taxidermy and old books line the walls of this hip gastro-pub, where the eclectic and wordy interior is designed to inspire thoughtful conversation amongst friends, staff, and strangers alike. Passages from Steinbeck are sprawled in chalk on the walls, and ironic idioms are pasted on mirrors, while rustic elements such as wood and brushed-metals are offset by splashes of color from the modern lime-green booths and bright orange industrial-style chairs.
Standout venue features:
Craft & Commerce is designed to inspire ideas and educate customers on the nuances of the restaurant’s quality-driven fare, handcrafted cocktails and intricate design elements that permeate its 1,500 square-feet.
