Later, tuck the kids into their bunk beds, and treat yourself to a long, luxurious soak in the clawfoot bathtub – bliss. From here, you can drive down to the sandy beach at Saltburn-by-the-Sea in just seven minutes, to dip your toes in the surf. Refuel at one of the local pubs or cafés, or grab some fish and chips to munch on the shore. Golfers can head to the local course, just a five-minute drive away, while those that prefer hiking can join the trails through the dramatic North York Moors National Park – it's seven minutes by car.
