- The Scene:
Château Gassies, built in 1775, was originally a wine estate. In 2011, the previous owners decided to remove all the vines, and in 2014, the current owners purchased the Château. After four years of meticulous renovations, the estate opened its doors in 2019 to host its first wedding.
This exceptional venue is set within a stunning 14-hectare park with a classic French garden. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Bordeaux St-Jean train station and 22 minutes from Bordeaux Mérignac airport, it offers easy access.
Perched on a hilltop, the estate provides breathtaking views of Bordeaux and its surroundings. Overlooking the Garonne Valley, the West Terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail while admiring the sunset, with the majestic Lebanese Cedar dominating the park.
- Design:
Château Gassies provides the perfect setting for a delightful stay, featuring two heated pools, a gym, a multi-sports field, and a wellness area with a hammam and sauna.
You will have exclusive access to one of our six spacious air-conditioned suites, all beautifully furnished with exquisite antique pieces.
Our three large cottages — Calèche, Orangerie, and Vignes — are also elegantly appointed. Fully equipped, they offer everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Breakfast is included for all guests staying on-site, and we offer a 56-space parking area at the entrance of the estate.
