Venue Setting

Chateau de Redon has been built on the ruins of an "elegant" chateau dating from the 15th century. It has been completely renovated in 2013 with a taste for modern design and respect for all the authentic elements: century-old oak wooden floors, chimneys with majestic mirrors, fine handcrafted mouldings and woodwork. At the same time, all modern comfort has been integrated seamlessly, with each room having its own design bathroom and sometimes a separate dressing room. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped which allows cooking for large groups. The large 2ha private park with rare, century-old trees offers a secluded location, perfect for families and groups. The saltwater swimming pool is heated and completely fenced.

The rooms -between 30 and 55m2- all have large queen size beds (180x210cm) and en-suite bathroom with toilet and bath or walk-in shower. Some have separate dressing or sitting area.
They all have a magnificent view of the valley, the park or the courtyard. 4 extra single beds for children and 2 baby cots can be added.

Château de Redon is located in the beautiful Périgord in the Dordogne, in a relaxed and natural landscape, on a hill overlooking the nut tree valley: the ideal setting to celebrate your wedding together with family and friends.

The chateau has many well-preserved features from the 18th century that have been renovated to offer you an authentic and romantic setting:
- The ceremony and reception can be held on the terras and the park overlooking the surrounding hills.
- The park has several rare century-old trees and is completely fenced by ancient stone walls, offering an exclusive and private place for you and your guests to celebrate a once-in-a-lifetime wedding.
- The barn has been completely renovated and is the ideal place to host your party, and to have indoor dining opportunities when wanted.
- The 200-year-old saddle room has been renovated and is used as a cozy bar.

The Château has been completely renovated from 2010 to 2013 with respect for its authenticity: century-old oak wooden floors, chimneys with majestic mirrors, fine handcrafted moldings and woodwork. The refined chic interior evokes an atmosphere of space, grandeur and luxury.

You will find all modern comfort integrated seamlessly, with each room having an en-suite design bathroom, sometimes even a separate dressing room.

Standout venue features:

Our guests sleep in one of the 8 spacious suites, all with large queen size beds and en-suite bathroom with toilet and bath or walk-in shower. We can accommodate 16 adults, with the possibility to add 4 extra single beds and 2 baby cots.

The château has large terraces east and south for breakfast and dining while enjoying wonderful viewsover the rolling hills and park.

There is a 12x5m private heated salt-water pool. The pool is slightly removed from the château, completely fenced and secured by a childproof gate and pool cover.

Château de Redon is open for weddings from April to October.
The Château accommodates 16 guests. You can rent the Château for a minimum of 3 nights.
All weddings take place on the terraces and in the garden of the château. We accommodate weddings up to ± 150 guests.
