We can accommodate up to 44 guests divided as follows:

Le Corps du Logis magnificent principal wing of the chateau surrounding the courtyard.
The fruits of an epic renovation by the de Commarque family, passionate colectors of art, antiques and contemporary pieces, these are unique spaces, designed to surprise and delight at every turn.
Each room is blessed with its own fantastic marble or stone clad bathroom.

Bellatrix - our largest room at around 90m2, splendid and rich in colour and style.
Antarios - a rare chance to experience sleeping in a 14th century vaulted room, with 21st century comforts.
Electra - wild eclecticism with a decontrusted bathroom
Alcyone - European classicism meets contemporary cool
Polaris - loose yourself in the big blue
Vega - pure romance

Le Fournial an independant wing of the chateau, all rooms overlook the courtyard:

Bedroom 1: La Chambre Verte .1st floor, very spacious with a noble yet restful atmosphere, ensuite bathroom, kingsize bed, can be double or twin.
Bedroom 2: La Chambre Lilas. 1st floor, pretty in pastels and oozing with classic French country style, ensuite bathroom, kingsize bed, can be double or twin.
Bedroom 3: La Chambre Baldequin. 1st floor, ensuite bathroom, historical splendor with a stunning kingsize 4 poster bed.

Le Camp D'Oro in the chateau gardens sleeps 10 in 5 furnished bell tents with a bijou rustic mini cottage as communal space and 2 shower rooms.
Each tent has top quality beds. and simple furnishings.

Les Bories a loft style 19th century tobacco barn barn conversion on the estate sleeps 2- 4 people, open plan space with central shower and dressing room as a divider. Full of suprises, this is an amazing space with a profound sense of peace.Views over meadow forest, and a picturesque ruined village, no neighbours.
The bedroom area contains a kingsize bed, and there are two further single beds in the main open plan living area which function as sofas when the occupancy is 2.

Le Pressoir a villa plus annex in the valley, 800m from the chateau on foot through the forest, or 1.5kms by car along the lanes. Sleeps 12adults in 6 bedrooms. Garden and valley views, no neighbours.

Villa:
Bedroom 1: Vast ground floor suite with dressing room and bathroom, patio doors lead straight out to the garden. Kingsize bed can be configured as a twin.
Bedroom 2: stunning spacious 1st floor suite , Kingsize bed can be configured as a twin.
Bedrooms 3 and 4: two rooms connected by a landing with a w.c and bathroom. One room has a kingsize or twin beds, the other is a small but sweet attic bedroom with two single beds for children, making these two rooms ideal for a family. The childrens room can be made up as a double for adults if required as the beds are high quality full size.

Annex:
Bedroom 5: Ground floor with it’s own entrance, a super stylish modern- rustic room with retro hospital beds (can be used together or as twins.) Patio doors lead out to a terrace and the pool garden and the room enjoys a particularly fabulous bathroom.
Bedroom 6: 1st floor with it’s own entrance, a wonderfully peaceful ensuite room with fantastic views along the valley from the kingsized bed, can also be a twin room.

Inclusive of concierge services, daily cleaning, fresh patisserrie delivered every morning, welcome treats. All household and pool linens are included and changed as required, the pools and grounds are maintained by on-site staff.

Le Fournial kitchen terrace is the best spot for a shady lazy lunch or get their for aperitif time when the sun hits.

Walk up into the forest for the best panoramic view, watch the chateau turn pink at sunrise.

Head to the pool for a sunset swim with swallows swooping down to the pool to cool off.

Ask the owners where to forage for the best cepe mushrooms or chestnuts to toast in the autumn.

The Scene:: Chateau de la Bourlie is the castle you drew when you were a kid; the turrets, the courtyard, the roses climbing the walls, and Alice in wonderland gardens elevated within rolling meadows surrounded by forest. There are photo ops in every direction, magical light qualities and warm golden stone, as well as some cool contemporary design surprises hidden behind rustic exteriors.
Design:: Indulge in classic elegant French country style at the Chateau with it's roll top baths, antiques and a bread oven in the kitchen, or the minimalist-rustic reinterpretation of an old tobacco barn turned loft style appartment, swim as the sun sets in our perfectly placed salt pool, enjoy the luxury of space.
