Casa Cantarena is one of our newest beachfront villas with great open space architecture, created in Mayan contemporary style. Its design focuses on keeping the harmony between modern and eco-conscious living given its pristine location inside the Sian Kaan biosphere, a UNESCO heritage site since 1987.

The four-bedroom Villa is nestled on a 100 m stretch of Sian Ka’an coastline, offering sea and lagoon views, a beachfront pool and a variety of outdoor dining and lounge areas. Casa Cantarena is an auto-sufficient property powered by the sun, wind with a backup generator to guarantee a standard set of sustainability.

The stunning surroundings are matched by the well thought out interiors. Floor to ceiling sliding doors allows guest to enjoy the perfect weather and views from the comfort of the home’s great room. Consisting of a dining room table for six neighboring an oversized U-shaped couch and large reclaimed wood coffee table, all overlooking the pool and beach. Sit, watch the sunset and have the friendly staff offer you natural coconut water or freshly squeezed juice.

The exceptional staff ensures a perfect stay, including a butler, cook, housekeeper and House Manager who can create the perfect itinerary. The in-house chef will create a menu based on your likes, dislikes and diets — be prepared to be surprised and leave the details to them! Food is purchased each day to ensure the freshest ingredients and menus for guests - truly farm to table. The chef will pick the best menu for the day as it’s based on the freshest food.

This one-of-a-kind home includes two King Master Suites, situated on opposite wings of the main level, with flat screen TV and ensuite bath consisting of an indoor and outdoor shower! An additional guest room can be found on this floor with two full beds and ensuite bath and glass shower. Overlooking the grand room is a well-equipped loft with queen room and two additional beds, a twin and full. This space also houses a private bathroom and shower.

The inviting interiors compete with the beautiful outdoor spaces - rooftop hot tub, fresh water pool, plenty of lounge chairs, ample sun umbrellas, beach bed with canopy, and a dining table for six. Sit and enjoy a wonderfully prepared meal surrounded by the beauty of the Caribbean Sea and the cool waters of Chunyaxche Lagoon and find tranquility in the heart of the Sian Kaan biosphere. Please note during the colder season this eco-luxe home, powered by wind and solar, may not be able to heat the rooftop tub to hot-tub standard temperatures.

Hidden between the tropical jungle and endless views of the turquoise blue waters, Casa Cantarena offers privacy and seclusion tucked away from the busy beaches of Tulum although close enough to enjoy Tulum’s wide range of archeological site and eco-tourism attractions, approximately 5.7km of unpaved road or about 20-minute drive from the Tulum beach town.

The Villa also sits perfectly between Tulum beach and the fishermen town of Punta Allen. (Punta Allen is about 45 minutes drive on unpaved road.)
