Inside Scoop

We have many hidden gems throughout the property including the Buried Bus, hiking trails & many permanent art installations! Take a stroll around the property and you just might find yourself on a fun adventure.

CampV is nestled in the small town of Naturita, CO where we encourage guests support local businesses!

Venue Features
The scene:

The entrance sign to Naturita, Colorado says, ‘Stop and enjoy a little Nature’ and that is what we hope you'll experience when you visit our camp on the outskirts of town along the San Miguel River. CampV is more than just a place to stay, it’s a space to inspire. This former mining camp built in the 1940's and recently transformed and remodeled to house travelers, nomads and dreamers.

CampV is separated into three distinct areas; Lower, Middle, & Upper.
Middle V is elevated on a plateau and is home to the twelve newly remodeled cabins, a newly built Pavilion, seven RV sites including three Airstreams, outdoor gathering space, plus an open field with art. Our Vortex pavilion offers a beautiful shelter from the elements, where events of all kinds have taken shape. The field is the perfect space to host a festival style party or wedding with plenty of space to roam and create your perfect venue with tents, chairs and entertainment set ups. Geusts will fina many art installations to explore: the Prairie Wind Chapel, the illuminated Dandelions and the Fuega, the big firepit.

UpperV is on a higher plateau and home to our newly remodeled VTrove event space and open aired water tank with a beautiful wood floor with 360 views. This area is great for small gatherings, meetings, yoga, sound baths and night events.

LowerV is the main primitive camping area and runs along the San Miguel River. It is home to LakeV, the swimming pond and beach area, as well as the Bus Lounge Speakeasy. This area is great for a casual or loungy atmosphere good for both day and night settings. LowerV has four EcoZoic restrooms and a freshwater shower to rinse off but it does not have potable water.

Design:

If only these walls could talk, they would have quite the story to tell. These historic cabins were built in 1942 to house the engineers who worked in the bustling Uranium mill (down the road) that closed down in the 70’s. It was often referred to as Snob Hill since it was the bosses who lived in these cabins during the mining boom.

Our team redesigned and restored the spaces to blend the old with the new. We welcome you to visit a piece of our history with modern amenities for the future.

The property offers space to appreciate the immersive on-site art pieces and history. If you appreciate a comfortable spot off the beaten path, this is it!

Standout venue features:
Rural communities deserve access to art and creative self expression. Never before has it been so important to share art and create spaces that will bring together connection and mindfulness. CampV has several pieces throughout the property including the Prairie Wind Chapel, the Dandelions and Francis.

Guests have the freedom to enjoy the space without a curfew! Our remote location allows you to fully utilize the venue and bring your vision to life without limitations. Plus, with our indoor pavilion, you’ll have a comfortable, weather-proof option, ensuring your event flows seamlessly regardless of the forecast.
