Located just a mere 15-minute drive from downtown Vancouver and only 30-minutes from Vancouver International Airport, this 1912 Tudor Revival Heritage Mansion is gracefully nestled within meticulously manicured gardens. Adorned with towering trees unveiling an enchanting tapestry, the lush surroundings offer an inviting outdoor setting for beautiful ceremonies while the breathtaking sunset views set the tone for a dreamy evening reception.

History

Philip Gilman, a wealthy mining engineer, built a dream home at Jericho Beach in 1911 but faced financial challenges and sold to Mildred Brock in 1922. The Brock family named their new home "Brockholm" and stayed in the house until 1938. The property changed hands to David Tait, whose widow sold the house to the RCMP in 1952 to be used as an additional facility for the RCMP's Vancouver Subdivision until 1971. The City of Vancouver acquired Brock House in 1975, then transferred it to the Vancouver Park Board, later awarding it to Brock House Society. Since 1978, Brock House Society has managed the building and to this day offers numerous programs, events and activities to seniors.
