Venue Setting

A historic 1870's barn/farm (formerly a horse farm) located in a picturesque valley setting on 15 acres. The historic barn has been preserved and enhanced with elegant huge chandeliers, wrapped posts and beams in white lights, extensive brick entrance way, raised garden beds and large deck. Acres of gardens for all tastes - including a 90 foot formal garden with walkways, center fountain - all beautifully lit at night. Additionally, a mature sixty foot tree is fully lit with cascading white light strands - truly a show stopper! An outdoor stone grill serves for wonderful evening bon fires or after dinner s'mores bar area. Every month offers gorgeous floral displays from 4,000 tulips in bloom in April- May to summer/fall color with vast perennial gardens, boxwood, large-scale rose gardens, giant hydrangeas, lily garden, giant hosta, ornamental grasses, and flower boxes brimming over in blooms.

We are no 'ordinary barn' venue. We are setting a new 'gold standard' within the industry! We offer uniformed staff, staff driven golf carts, and full day event coordination. Bridle Barn and Gardens offers many photo opportunities as it is located down in a valley surrounded by mature woods, and views of the rolling countryside. Whether you want garden photos, hilltop photos, corn fields,woods or rolling hillside - there are many gorgeous spots to take the photos you desire. In addition - an elegant farmhouse serves as a relaxing area to prepare for the ceremony. Open May 1 - October 15th.

The farmhouse features a charming enclosed porch, formal dining room, large living room, large bedroom suite with canopy bed and private bathroom. Farmhouse is available during the entire day/evening of your event. No overnights.

The magic starts the moment you drive down the long circular driveway. The gorgeous gardens and all the walking paths are enchanting.  Many adirondack chairs and benches are scattered throughout the grounds so guests can sit, relax and enjoy the tranquility of the gardens and gorgeous views. The big magic begins at nightfall - when all the elegant white lights surrounding the barn, the brick garden walls, the formal gardens/fountain and magic tree all sparkle in white lights. It is quite simply, breathtaking! Guests frequenty say they've never seen anything as elegant and gorgeous.

The Scene:
You will enter down a long driveway into a wooded valley location. We are surrounded by high ridges and rolling farm fields/woods. Upon first arriving, you will drive past the elegant 90 foot formal garden with center fountain. Next, you will see the 1870's red barn with elegant coach lights and brick terraced raised gardens filled with boxwood, white hydrangea and hosta. The circular driveway passes the 1800's farmhouse with flower boxes on every window! The farmhouse is well appointed to be a comfortable place for preparing.

Our goal has always been to preserve the family horse farm, preserve history, while also enhancing the historical charm with elegance, sophistication and acres of gorgeous gardens and landscape. We are the only barn venue in our area which offers multiple uniformed staff, staff driven golf carts, event coordination, and guest services in the manner that we do.

Extra benefits include: a staffed outdoor stone grill for bonfires/s'mores bar, thousands of dollars in decor items included at no extra charge, massive barn chandeliers, professionally lit tree with 50 strands of cascading white lights, acres of gardens, large hill top wedding pergola with draping, horse carriage for photos, and staff driven golf carts for guest transport. The elegant farmhouse is also included for day-of preparation. A house attendant is also included.

You are welcome to choose any caterer you desire. We can happily make recommendations. Or, if you have family and friends who are great chefs - feel free to self-cater your event! We do not charge catering fees, so you may negotiate with any caterer you want.
Bars & Lounges:
You (or your caterer) may supply your alcohol. We provide furnishings to help make serving beverages easier. We have a charming 8 foot pallet bar on wheels to be placed on the large deck for the bar. We also have an antique bar with two galvanized oval tubs (perfect for ice/wine bottles). In addition, a large horse tank is the perfect vessel for storing large quantities of ice for self serve non-alcoholic beverages such as water, iced tea, soda, etc.
