Brenners Park-Restaurant: It was only in August 2012 that Paul Stradner took on the position of head chef in the renowned Brenners Park-Restaurant in Baden-Baden. And already he is celebrating his first star from the Michelin Guide. I am extremely proud of the fact that in my first job with direct responsibility and within such a short period of time to have been awarded a Michelin star. Here, Mr Marrenbach and Executive Chef Rudolf Pellkofer have created the perfect framework for this achievement. The focus now is to build upon this success. More than 10 years of professional experience in the best restaurant in Europe have paved the career path of this young head chef. Paul Stradner admits that he has learnt from the best: from Harald Wohlfahrt, the three-Michelin-star chef from the famous Schwarzwaldstube in Baiersbronn, Germany, and from Jean Georges Klein, also a three-star chef at the L Arnsbourg in Baerenthal, France, where Stradner, until his recent move to Brenners, was employed as sous-chef. General manager Frank Marrenbach stated : 'The Brenners Park-Restaurant continues to justify its Michelin star status. I am very grateful to Paul Stradner and the entire team of the Brenners Park-Restaurant for their outstanding commitment and great dedication. It\'s an excellent platform for the future.\' Restaurant Wintergarten: The Wintergarten Restaurant, flooded with natural light, prides itself on its 40 front row seats overlooking the park and the famous Lichtentaler Allee. As you feast your eyes on this spectacular view, you can savour classic cuisine with Mediterranean accents all day long in a stylish, modern ambience. The Wintergarten offers breath-taking views of the park and the colourful hustle and bustle of the famous Lichtentaler Allee in Baden-Baden. Salon Lichtental: Start the day in relaxed fashion with a superb breakfast in the Salon Lichtental. The Salon Lichtental, with its own terrace onto the park, offers the opportunity to enjoy breakfast outside. Help yourself from the extensive buffet or be served an \'à la carte\' breakfast at your table. Rive Gauche: Enjoy your trip around the Mediterranean Sea! Experience Mediterranean flair and enjoy luscious dishes in the heart of the Lichtentaler Allee. Our Chef combines the flavours of the South and creates unusual and exciting treats for your palate. Josephine Geiger, your cheerful host and her team will take you on a true culinary adventure.
The Oleander-Bar is a favourite meeting point for everyone. Men of the turf talk shop over drinks during race weeks; hotel guests enjoy an aperitif, and the residents of Baden-Baden pop in for a drink or cocktail. Cocktails and long drinks mixed by our head barman are always popular; the mood is always convivial allowing guests to relax and unwind to the strains of discreet piano music in the evening. The Oleander-Bar serves exclusive rare rums including Zacapa Centenario XO from Guatemala, Pyrat XO Reserve from Anguilla, El Dorado (12, 15 and 21 years old) from Guyana and a 40-year-old La Favorite from the Island of Martinique. Exclusive, rare whiskies are also served including the 30-year-old Macallan, Laphroaig, Springbank, Bowmore and Glenfarclas and, for the ladies, a Liqueur de Cassis from the world-renowned Château Mouton-Rothschild. The Kaminhalle adjoining the Oleander-Bar is the social heart of the Brenners in Baden-Baden. Guests always feel at home here, whether it's in the morning for a relaxing break, for afternoon coffee or tea or to unwind in the evening over a drink with friends. Besides its distinctive humidor and the friendly, home-like ambience, the Cigar Lounge provides guests a selection of cigars. Additionally, you can complement the experience by simultaneously enjoying one of the hotel\\\'s cognac, whisky or wine rarities. During a stimulating conversation with like minded guests or while absorbed in a book, you have the opportunity to reach our service team by using the service bell.We shall gladly provide gentlemen with a smoking jacket, thus resurrecting the old tradition of gentlemen wearing a comfortable jacket to protect their clothes from the smell of smoke. During your stay, we will gladly provide you with your own private compartment in the humidor.
